Susan Naftulin

President and Co-Founder

Susan founded RFG with partner Jeffrey Goldberg in 2009.  In addition to serving as President of RFG, Susan also serves on the American Association of Private Lenders Ethics Advisory Committee where she continuously upholds the real estate industry’s values, and supports professional conduct in private lending.

Prior to becoming President of RFG, Susan held several senior management positions in the mortgage industry, including General Counsel, Managing Attorney, Chief Operating Officer, and Senior Vice President for both privately and publicly held mortgage lenders.  Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Susan was a creditors’ rights attorney with the Philadelphia Law Firm of Fox Rothschild LLP.

Susan earned her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and has two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, one in history and the other in secondary education.  Susan currently lives in suburban Philadelphia with her husband, and enjoys spending time with her two adult sons.

John V. Santilli

Chief Revenue Officer

John joined RFG in July 2019, and is responsible for all opportunities connected to the growth of RFG.  He is focused on expanding the company’s sales channels to maintain their position as a leader in rehab financing.

Prior to joining RFG, John had 25 years of lending and marketing executive leadership experience across multiple private and public marketing-dependent companies.  He had managed companies from start-up to maturity ranging from $2.5M to over $50M in annual revenue.

John earned a Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Drexel University.  He currently resides in Wynnewood, PA, with his three children, and enjoys family first, live music, and finding the perfect balance of work hard/play hard.

Evan Brody

Controller

Evan currently holds the title of Controller at Rehab Financial Group, LP. Before joining RFG, Evan held several senior accounting and finance positions in the real estate and lending industries, as well as spending a significant time with a large family office in New York. Evan is responsible for all servicing and accounting functions, including tax and audit, loan servicing and draw management, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, cash management and treasury, benefits and human resources, as well as day to day vendor relationships. Evan is a member of the AICPA and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in both New York and Pennsylvania.

Evan graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is Certified Public Accountant in both New York and Pennsylvania, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Evan currently resides in the Lehigh Valley and enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons.

Lisa Allen

Underwriting & Processing Manager

Lisa joined RFG in January 2020. Lisa started her lending career over 30 years ago in the banking and lending industry. With an excellent background and experience in processing, underwriting, and management, she was most recently an Operations Officer for 11 years for two prominent mortgage companies.

Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Fairleigh Dickinson. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she currently resides in Sicklerville, NJ with her husband. She is an avid traveler and enjoys trying new restaurants. Her proudest moments will be happening in summer 2025 when one daughter enters her graduate degree program and the other will graduate from high school with an associate’s degree as well as her high school diploma.

Brian M. Augsberger

Director of Sales 

Brian joined RFG in September 2015.  Prior to that, Brian cultivated relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients of JP Morgan Private Bank.  He also worked in McCann Erickson’s Sydney and Gold Coast offices, procuring new business across Australia.

Brian earned a Master’s Degree in Communication-Advertising from Bond University in Australia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University.  While at St. Joe’s, he played on the Hawks’ varsity baseball team.  Brian is also a proud alumnus of Salesianum School, a Roman Catholic independent school for boys located in Wilmington, DE.  He currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.

Matt Breen

Director of Operations

Matt joined RFG in January 2020. Prior to that, he had been in the mortgage/lending industry for almost 20 years in various roles from Sales, Operations, and most recently in several different Risk/Compliance Underwriting positions. He lived in Southern CA for 7 years and was a Loan Counselor as well as a licensed Real Estate Broker while there, so he understands all sides of the fix-to-flip equation.

Nichole Cloud

Project & Office Manager

Nichole joined RFG in February 2022 with over 10 years of management experience. Since joining, she has managed standardized procedures and practices to ensure alignment across RFG’s various teams.

Prior to joining RFG, Nichole previously worked as a Public Adjuster ensuring homeowners were adequately compensated for property losses. Her professional career has involved extensive time spent working for a Financial and Operational consulting firm, holding a variety of roles, including Office Management, Human Resources Support, and Sourcing C-level executives for their clients.
Nichole holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lock Haven University. A resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Chuck Lewis

Chuck joined RFG in October 2023 with 30 years of information technology experience. Previously, he worked for various nationally recognized mortgage and retail banking companies as well as leading several technology consulting practices for clients across a range of other industries, including telecommunications, manufacturing and professional services. His expertise crosses a range of IT disciplines including development, operations, support, architecture, application management and team development.

Chuck earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. A resident of Bucks County, PA, he enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his family and following Philly sports teams.

Jim Schreffler

Director of Credit-Management

Jim joined RFG in Aug of 2020. Prior to joining RFG, Jim held leadership positions in three prominent lending and servicing organizations for over 30 years. Jim joins RFG with over 30 years of mortgage experience with an expertise in underwriting and servicing of Residential and Commercial Real Estate.

Jim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University. Born in Central PA, Jim has relocated several times and currently resides in Warminster, Pa. He has three boys and is an avid golfer.

Ken Warshaw

Director of Marketing

With over 30 years of experience in agency and client marketing, Ken joined Rehab Financial Group in early 2022. Understanding the unique industry position of RFG’s 100% Fix & Flip Premier loan, Ken focuses on communicating the distinctive value of RFG loan products to help power the success of real estate investors.

After spending over twenty years at the world’s largest construction products manufacturer, Ken understands the critical role of real estate investors in delivering housing.

Ken graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the American College of London and an MBA in management information systems from LaSalle University. He resides in Montgomery County and enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter when he is not geeking out about new digital communications and marketing developments.
